Delta Electricity

Australian Industrial Rope Access has been engaged by Delta Electricity Western for the past 10 years. Having proved the viability, cost effectiveness, adaptability and understanding of OH&S issues, Delta have engaged AIRA on numerous task with both Wallerawang and Mount Piper Power Stations.

AIRA have undertaken the following works for Delta:

• Low Rise Cooling towers - Timber replacement, Inspections, maintenance, fan blade inspections, drift mitigation works & confined space inspections
• 35 metre Stock Bins - Internal & external UT inspections, Stock hang up removal, photographic inspections, confined space entry, rescue procedures and cleaning
• Boilers - Clinker make safe removal, cleaning, inspections, confined space entry, remote rescue procedures and standby rescues
• Air Heater Units - Sad damper inspections, control arm replacement, fixing replacement and photographic surveys
• Roofing works - roof hanger dampener arms, roof sheeting, insulation reinstatement, NDT inspections, fixing replacement and welding

AIRA have an approved Site Specific Safety management plan for Delta sites and passed Delta internal audits on all OH&S issues from job planning through to employee training.

As a result of AIRA's exemplary safety record, we are now the preferred rope access supplier for Delta Western.
